About Me

As a 15-year veteran (has it really been that long???) of the education field, I have taught, coached, and mentored, over one thousand students (I'm getting tired just thinking about it).  I have employed many strategies (some good and some not so good) in order to provide opportunities for my students interact with content. Not only have I used these strategies in my classroom, but I have also studied the effects of these strategies in the completion of my doctoral degree.  My research and my classroom experiences are what lead me to the creation of this blog to share ideas and information on interactive ways to meet the needs of students.

Please feel free to contact me with questions, comments, and/or requests.  I firmly believe that collaboration (even with strangers on the internet) is a great way to help our students be successful.
